A BOWL FULL OF REJOICING

STUDENT? ATHLETE? A STUDENT-ATHLETE?

Today on the show Gibbs talks with Team Lancaster Thunder about two college football athletes that have encouraged him this past week with some decisions they have made. Travis Hunter star football player at Colorado has maintained excellent grades throughout his career in college. Top transfer portal QB Darian Mensah, said part of the reason he chose Duke was because of the opportunity to receive a degree from Duke. This is not the narrative you hear much these days in collegiate sports and that was refreshing to hear. Army Navy game this weekend puts some true Student-Athletes on the field. The learning mentality put forth by Hunter, Mensah, and the cadets at West Point and Annapolis leads us to Acts 17:11 where we see the Bereans hailed as leaners and seekers of truth. THANKSGIVING IN A SNOW GLOBE

When thinking about life it is very easy especially in defeat or struggle to drift into the Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda life. Whether you left someone on your bench in fantasy football that had the big week, were buying packs of cards to get the Paul Skenes rookie and you never get it, or made a mistake at work, it easy to be distracted with speculation about what could have been!
