Today Gibbs talks with Team Lancaster Thunder about the sustained excellence of Novak Djokovic and Clayton Kershaw. Djokovic is in the midst of another strong run at the Wimbledon tournament; where an opera crowd takes in a sporting event. Djokovic over two decades has kept an engaged and learning posture and his tennis career has soared to great altitudes. Despite the great successes and hardships he has overcome he continues to view himself with sober judgement. It is clear he takes each match point seriously. He thanks those who have served in the United States Armed Forces and reminds Team Lancaster Thunder that the freedoms we enjoy in America pale in comparison to the freedom available through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Gibbs talks about how now we see who was a better model on the runway than basketball player on the hardwood floor. Time to go to work. Time to separate the show horses from the work horses. Gibbs shares with team Lancaster Thunder some thoughts on encouragement from his recent trip to the Phillies game where he watched Jesus Luzardo turn the Mets bats into spaghetti noodles for nearly 7 innings.
