These four situations are all symbolic of sports greatness at historic levels. As we ponder the excellence on display, Gibbs points us to Colossians 1 where we find the preeminence of Jesus Christ, the only champion whose glory days will never come to an end. The analysis of that effort is often lacking any sort of consideration of Biblical ideas, so we talk about the NBA All-Star game from a Biblical worldview. Vince Carter shared some insights about NBA players in today's game in a recent interview that are illuminating. WITNESSING HISTORY: YOU PLAY A PART

Today on the show Gibbs discusses the historic accomplishment of Caitlin Clark breaking the women's NCAA basketball scoring record. He believes she is going to catch "Pistol Pete". Finally, he talks about the tragedy in Kansas City and how we cannot engage the discussion around that event without talking about God.
