PENALTIES OR VICTORIES?

Today on the show Gibbs talks with team Lancaster Thunder about the dramas that unfolded at the World Cup on Monday night June 29. Two games were decided from the penalty spot after 120 minutes of competition and the tension was thick as World Cup dreams were on the line. Gibbs was drawn to thoughts of eternity as he watched the shootout between Germany and Paraguay unfold. He was also taken back to the 1994 World Cup sadness of Roberto Baggio and a memorable miss from the spot in a World Cup final that Baggio still seems to carry with him to this day. Every person on earth has a future appointment with the triune God. Just as a penalty kick is full of tension and confrontation; for those under the wrath of God, that meeting will be fearsome and pressure packed.
